Specializations
With over 15 years of experience, I work with people who feel stuck, anxious, or burned out, helping them understand their challenges and regain balance in daily life. My approach combines evidence-based strategies with a warm, collaborative style, so therapy and testing feel practical, supportive, and truly personalized.
Therapy for Anxiety
Worry, panic, and fear can make even everyday tasks feel overwhelming. Anxiety may show up as constant overthinking, avoiding situations that feel uncertain or uncomfortable, feeling on edge in public, or getting stuck in cycles of perfectionism and self-doubt. Over time, these patterns can shrink your world and drain your energy.
In therapy, I help you understand how your anxiety works—what triggers it, what keeps it going, and how it may intersect with neurodivergence, executive functioning challenges, or past experiences. Together, we develop an individualized plan that fits your life, your nervous system, and your goals, rather than asking you to push through in ways that feel unsustainable.
Using evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) strategies, our work focuses on loosening unhelpful patterns, increasing flexibility in how you respond to fear, and gradually reducing avoidance. The aim is not to eliminate anxiety altogether, but to help you relate to it differently—so it no longer runs your life and you can move forward with greater confidence toward what matters most.
OCD Treatment
Intrusive thoughts, urges, and compulsions can take over daily life, making it difficult to focus, relax, or feel at ease. OCD often shows up as repetitive checking, mental rituals, or persistent “what if” thinking. I provide specialized, evidence-based treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold standard for OCD and related disorders—which helps you safely face intrusive thoughts and reduce the power of compulsions over time.
ERP is tailored to each client, with flexibility in pacing and structure to support engagement, motivation, and values-based progress—particularly for individuals with complex presentations or co-occurring neurodivergence. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is often integrated to build psychological flexibility and support meaningful action, and Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) is offered when clinically appropriate and aligned with client preferences.
Autism Testing
Comprehensive, affirming Autism assessments for autism, with expertise in high-masking and psychiatrically complex presentations. I have over a decade of research and clinical expertise in the assessment of Autism in females and individuals with co-occurring anxiety, depression, and other mental health diagnoses. Testing goes beyond checklists to include careful clinical interviews, records review, performance-based measures, and input from multiple sources. The goal is to provide clarity and offer practical, individualized recommendations that support self-understanding, advocacy, and next steps for growth.
Comprehensive Testing
Includes standardized measures of intellectual abilities (IQ), as well as assessments of emotional, behavioral, and social functioning (sometimes referred to as psychoeducational testing). Referral questions often involve understanding an individual’s unique profile of strengths and challenges, including difficulties with attention, processing, learning, or social communication. The goal is to provide clear, actionable insights that help guide diagnosis, treatment planning, educational supports, and decision-making.
Parent Training
Practical guidance and skill-building for parents raising children with big feelings or challenging behaviors. Sessions focus on strengthening your connection with your child, learning effective strategies to manage difficult moments, and building confidence in your parenting approach. The goal is to empower you with tools and support so you can feel calmer, more consistent, and better equipped to nurture your child’s growth and resilience. I incorporate evidence-based parent management approaches, including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (certified provider), that are individually tailored to your child’s unique profile and needs.
Family Therapy
Supportive, affirming therapy for families navigating the unique dynamics that come with neurodivergence. Sessions focus on strengthening communication, deepening understanding, and building strategies to reduce conflict and increase connection. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, working through daily challenges, or simply wanting more harmony at home, therapy provides a safe space to grow together with compassion and clarity.
