Fees + Insurance

My priority is to provide high quality, tailored therapy and testing that is comprehensive, timely, and affordable. I am an Out of Network Provider (OON), which means you pay up front at the time of services. The OON process works by you paying the full session fee upfront, and then I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recognize that this is an investment; this is why I use evidence-based treatments designed to help you make progress more quickly.

I offer superbills to all therapy and testing clients who request them. You can submit this superbill to your insurance provider for out-of-network benefits. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, and you may be directly reimbursed some portion. If you are planning to submit a superbill to your insurance provider, you are strongly encouraged to check with your insurance provider about the reimbursement process BEFORE seeking services.

Questions to ask your insurance company for OON benefits:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental/behavioral health?

  • Are there certain services that are not covered, and for which I will not be reimbursed (e.g., are certain treatment codes excluded or limited under my plan)?

  • Do I have to meet a deductible before I am eligible for out-of-network benefits? Is this deductible waived for mental/behavioral health services?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions for which I will be reimbursed, and/or do I need to obtain an authorization prior to seeking treatment?

  • What documentation do I need to submit to receive reimbursement?

For Therapy

  • How much will I be reimbursed for a 60-minute session (90837)?

For Testing:

  • How much will I be reimbursed for a 60-minute intake (90791)?

  • How much will I be reimbursed for codes: 96130, 96131, 96136, and 96137?

  • Some insurance providers may require pre-authorization for testing, so please check with your insurance provider before scheduling your testing appointments.

My fees are as follows:

Therapy

  • Intake: $250

  • Individual Therapy (60 minutes): $225/session

  • Parent Training/Family Therapy: $250 Session including caregivers (most common for behavioral problems, family conflict).

Testing

An estimate specific to your testing needs can be provided by scheduling a 15 minute consultation. Various factors including history of previous testing, symptom complexity, and reason for testing may impact fees.

  • Psychiatric Evaluation: $1,200
    Includes assessment of anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, etc.; excludes ADHD, autism, learning disorders.

  • Focused Autism Testing: $1,600
    Includes assessment of IQ, adaptive functioning, and brief screening of other disorders; excludes ADHD and learning disorders.

  • Focused ADHD Testing: $1,600
    Includes assessment of IQ, executive functioning, and brief screening of other disorders; excludes autism and learning disorders.

  • Comprehensive Psychological Testing: $2,000
    Includes assessment of IQ and screening for psychological disorders including ADHD, autism, and learning disorders.
